Ouff, what a "hangover" from last night. The Conservative government in this country was re-elected with a majority government for the first time since the 1980s. Day 6 of having a full fledged cold.. this is driving me insane! I'm used to having 1 or 2 day colds.

I had one of my final exams yesterday morning and went to work in the afternoon. When I came home, I went straight to bed, though.

I have my last exam tomorrow afternoon. Please let my cold be gone by then! I really don't need this!

I called in sick this morning, it's the first time I've ever done it in my current job that I've had for 2.5 years!(?) It was quite a production because technically (and for decency's sake) you are supposed to announce your illness before 9:15 am, but no library worker worth their salt would answer the phone before the library opens at 10:00!
